War Has Changed

This is Snake. Otacon, do you read me? I didn't think I'd be dropped off somewhere so... weird looking. Wasn't I supposed to protect Big Boss's corpse? And what about Raging Raven? Big Mama's badly injured, and I don't know how long she'll last at this rate... Anyway, that aside, I might as well inform you of my location. I appear to be in a small town, and my clothes are... Hnn... Not exactly what I had in mind for wearing. I don't have any of my gear, not even my codec, so I'm stuck with this weird looking thing. Apparently, it's called a "Poke Gear". Hell if I know, all I managed to figure out was how to write and talk with it. I guess that's good for starts. Oh yeah, I, uh... I found a weird looking egg outside in the grass while I was scouting the area. It started to rain, so I brought it with me. It's kind of big, maybe about 30cm tall and 25cm wide. It's got triangles and circles all over it, too. I've never seen an egg like this before... I wonder how it tastes.
