She was on her side, looking quite exhausted, and weak. Snake, on the other hand, was digging through his inventory backpack, searching for one of those Potions he found while sneaking in the tall grass. Taking one out, he moved close to Chicken and began to gently spray her with it.]

[Chicken's eyes flutter, before she actually wakes up, and slowly stands. Snake grunts, then gently pets her, giving a soft smirk.]

I'm not much of a "live off the land" kind of guy, but if I have to, I'll do it. It's not like living in Alaska, but it'll do.

If I were really living off the land, I'd be able to eat the animals here. But I didn't even get rations... Usually I can find those during O.S.P., too.

Rations. Food that soldiers usually have... Sort of like a freeze wrapped meal... Small, but enough to keep you fed. It also restores your LIFE meter if it's low.
