[Snake is looking rather worried. His mysterious egg is wiggling around a lot more than usual lately. He'd been trying to take good care of it, such as letting it stay close to his body, even when he slept, he'd also polish it daily.... or fall asleep while doing it. But he was really trying to at least have it hatch... If he couldn't eat it, it might as well entertain him somehow.


But now he had a feeling it was hatching. And oh god. How he wished he'd just eaten it. It was now that he realized he was going to have to look after a baby animal. He didn't worry too much about Solid, Liquid and Solidus, the three chickens on the Nomad, mostly because Sunny and Otacon took care of them. But this... this egg was his responsibil-- oh god. What was that sound.]

... Hahhnn... [Grabs the egg and picks it up, looking about worriedly. He could hear a crackling sound. Nononono, don't hatch don't hatch don't hatch-- oh god it was hatching. Snake's hands were shaking, half in anticipation, half in OH GOD WHAT DO I DO. He stepped over to the bed, and sat there, holding the egg before him, just staring at it... And suddenly...

POP.

The top of the egg popped off, surprising Snake enough to cause a large, red exclamation mark to appear above his head, along with a ZING like sound. His eyes were wider now, and he swallows nervously... But it doesn't end there. Little feet and arms also emerge from the egg, but the rest of the egg doesn't seem to be coming off...

What in the...

[And then, there's a face looking at him, with adorable beady eyes and a confused look. Snake's face is white as a sheet, and he just stares back, mustache twitching somewhat. I-it was... c-cute...??]

.... Uh, hi. [Well, this was going to be fun.]
