[ Hello, Mahogany. Snake is feeling better than he has in weeks, truth be told. Plus, it was a sunny day and it was pretty damn hot out, too. He couldn't really ask for more, but the sun agitated him a bit so he was just gonna catch some of the shade under this box.

Yeah.

So anyone catching this video is going to notice that it's quite dark and pretty close to old-man-face. ]

... Hn. Kind of nostalgic. [ Smirk. ] This is Snake. Getting out some practice again... Haven't really had the time or the need to do any stealth training. I've got all the experience I need, but it never hurts to dust off the old skills.

[ Suddenly, everything shakes. Snake looks alarmed, and there's a muffled crooning sound from outside... wherever Snake is. ]

...

[ The crooning becomes louder and the shaking intensifies until suddenly VOOP! There's bright sunlight, Snake lets out a growled cry as everything is flipped upside down and he lands on his back-- and there's a giant Onix face stuffing itself into the camera feed. ]

Dammit, Solid--... S2! I told you, not while I'm in the box!

[ ... oh. "S2" doesn't appear to hear Snake at all, instead nuzzling the camera, and then suddenly it moves to the old soldier, and by the sounds of Snake's grunting, nuzzles were had by him, too. ]

A cardboard box can be used for more than just carrying or storing things... It can also be used to sneak around in. Finding a box that can cover you entirely is a very effective way of staying out of site... Most people won't suspect a cardboard box, and why would they? [ He gives a smirk. ]

I can't count the number of times a cardboard box got me out of a tight spot.

And what you can't fit in a normal one? Wouldn't they suspect a big one just sitting around?

Well, dogs can identify you by scent, so a cardboard box isn't going to mean anything to them. Animals are out of the question by default... And anyway, you're not going to use a box that's too small because then it can't hide your body completely. Using a box out in the wilderness is asking to get you caught, but in an urban environment? It's perfect.

Um... pretty good, I think. Sometimes it's easy to hide from them, but I think that might just because they're not that intelligent.

If they're not that intelligent, then they might not notice a cardboard box.

I wonder how well it'd work... I mean, I wouldn't try it myself, but... curiosity, you know?

I've never fought a giant, at least not a living one... Can't say how well a cardboard box would work against it. Just don't get yourself killed.

I've seen myself die a few times... Not sure if it was some strange foresight or hallucinating due to exhaustion though. I'm still kicking, anyway. [ one too many game overs. ]

Hopefully it was just the latter... And at least we can't die here, I ah... I already saw proof of that when my friend got himself killed in October.

I've met a few people who are dead in my time, but alive and well when they come here. Hnn... [ That's a scary thought, actually. ]

...I talked to one who was from my past, I guess. They didn't remember things that happened back in our world. It's still really weird to think about but after the things I've seen it doesn't seem too hard to believe.

Still, it's kind of nice... I wouldn't want to die from an accident here from one of the pokemon--mine or not. Even though I'm used to dealing with things that can be up to fifteen meters tall, they can still do some damage in their own way. _{[Like when his Feraligatr was a tiny little Totodile.]}

Yeah, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of most Pokemon moves. I've heard about kids getting electric shocks from their Pokemon, and not even needing to go to a hospital, but I'm not sure I'd want to try it. [ Had enough of being electrocuted. ]

Getting hugged by S2 is already a pain in the ass. I don't think I want to get body-slammed by him.

I lost half of my eyebrow from my Vulpix getting excited over one of his newer fire attacks. _{[t's still noticeable, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was before.]}

I don't think I want to imagine being body-slammed by something that's made of rocks that size. It's bad enough when my Feraligatr decides to sit on me even though I can carry people that weigh more than she does.
