[Since it's still raining, Snake's just sitting on a chair, having set the PokeGear in front of him so it could see both him and the awkward egg. He was holding it on his lap, polishing it with a warm cloth. But his face doesn't look calm, instead... he's perplexed.]

... hnn...? Oh, recording...? Hey.

This egg. What's inside? What the hell's a Pokemon? And why the hell are sheep coming out of eggs? Someone at least explain this to me. The rain's still pouring outside, and I'm trying to keep this... egg warm and whatever. I don't even know where to start. I've never been good at this mother hen stuff.

[Thinks a moment.] Oh right... What does it eat...? I mean, if it hatches... All we have in this house is water, milk, eggs and bread... And I don't think it'll want eggs when it hatches...

... Uh, well. I'm kind of used to it... But I'd rather have something to do if I'm going to be in one place...
