From what I've seen, Pokemon are pretty low leveled... It's the other trainers and Gym Leaders that you have to worry about. Still, using the wrong type against a wild Pokemon could get you in trouble, too.

Movies set it up that way, but it's not always that simple. Battlefields aren't only meant for war, any conflict can become a battlefield if either side has enough power. I specialize in stealth missions, my job is to get in and stop the conflict before it becomes a war.
