Schnub! [The sound of an entitled Snubbull could be heard.]

... Hhrnn... I don't know what's gotten into you, but your master entrusted me with your care. So start listening to me. [ The gear turns to look at the pink Pokemon, its ears adorned with pink bows, though its face quite... uncute. Truly, it should have evolved by now, but it seems Old Snake doesn't realize that.

The Pokemon's own will to remain a Snubbull was too strong even for nature.] What is your problem?

Schnub! Schnububububull! Nub nub! Schnubbull! [She then begins to run away, something shiny in her grasp.]


... Hhrrnmmm... Any advice on how to get this damn Pokemon to listen to me? Was she always this stubborn?...

[Juliette sticks out her tongue, but when she notices the bagel, she eyes it curiously, licking her lips. She was hungry.]

Come on, if you listen to me, I'll give you food.

[She doesn't seem to like that idea at first, besides that's not ice cream or candy... But she was hungry...]

[Slowly reaches a hand behind himself, grabbing hold of a Pokeball, meanwhile he tosses the bagel toward Juliette, who drops the Hive Badge in favor of catching the bagel. She takes a large bite out of it, smiling happily. Snake then smirks, thrusting his arm forward and immediately returning the Snubbull to her Pokeball, bagel and all.]


... Hhrn.

[And now Miles is clapping, politely.] Congratulations.

[He's smiling.] You're welcome - it worked, didn't it?

Well, we'll see if she hates me when I let her out of her ball next time. [Rubs the back of his head, slowly standing back up and rubbing his back.]

I've done it before. My Arcanine didn't do much more than throw me in the snow when I gave her another treat in apology.

I got her from someone who's not here anymore, as far as I know. A guy named Jack Atlus. [Shrugs.] We were going to battle when he got to Goldenrod, but he never made it.

Juliette misses him.
