[The video feed flicks on, showing itself to be in Ilex Forest. Looks like Snake must be taking his sweet time to get to Goldenrod this time-- or his back really does hurt that much. Whatever the case may be, the video turns to look at Snake, but... There's nothing there.]

Hn. I've been doing some research of my own... The townspeople talk about a Guardian who lives in this forest... ...Could that Guardian be a Pokemon?

[Slowly Snake sits up... at first it looks like a bunch of grass but then the grass effect disappears, revealing Snake. Octo-camo had its uses. He reaches for the PokeGear, presumably held by Sunny, and turns it off.]

I could name a lot more than just one situation. Don't underestimate the value of a cardboard box. They've saved my life more than a few times.

On the battlefield, you never know when an ambush will happen.

Where I come from, the world depends on War to survive. Everything revolves around the War Economy. A peaceful world like this is impossible to imagine... It's only something you'd find in a video game.

[Well that didn't work, Killua decides to try a different approach at comforting]

Okay then at least you still have your stealth skills and combat knowledge. I bet you could break a guy's neck without him even noticing.

Hey, show some respect! Cardboard boxes have saved a ton of soldiers over the years, they're good for more than just packing things you know. Be good to your box, treat it with love.

Don't write it off just yet. Think about it: trucks, factories, military bases... All those places have cardboard boxes. As long as you aren't hiding in one where they'd be completely obvious, you're in the clear.

... You do know when they say "battlefield" they don't actually mean "fields", right?

In the end, the lie is more painful than the truth. Yeah, it's painful to see someone suffer from learning the truth, but to keep it from them is far worse.

[She nods. She knows that now but it's still hard to accept.] You sound like a girl I know. he said the same thing.

[Her smile returns full force though] I have lots of secrets, but you won't be hearing about those! A girl's gotta have plenty of secrets. It makes for a good mystery, don't you think?

Movies set it up that way, but it's not always that simple. Battlefields aren't only meant for war, any conflict can become a battlefield if either side has enough power. I specialize in stealth missions, my job is to get in and stop the conflict before it becomes a war.
