[The feed clicks on as Snake is between two ledges. He's already hopped one, it seems, but he's not hopped the next.]

Otacon, looks like the Action Button has no use here. [ Looks at the ledge. ] It does look a little high... But I've seen some shorter ones and I can't climb them. I guess it's something to keep in mind...

[ Peers over at the other ledge. Snake appears to be in the Union Cave right now. Solid is in view, looking down at his master. ]

All right... Let's go. [ Taking a few steps to the other ledge, Snake crouches down to look it over, before slipping over it to hop to the ground below.

Instead, however, when he lands there is no graceful thump. There is a sickening crack and the cry of an old man, as the gear drops. And maybe the lowering of a Psyche Gauge. ]

[He grumbles, getting annoyed because Snake isn't getting annoyed.]

[Pikachu could be heard excitedly talking in the background, and he must have stepped on the PokeGear because the feed was suddenly switched to video.

The screen now showed Ivan barely humoring the Pikachu's wonderment at a pretty flower it was holding on the top of it's head.]

[Ivan looks over at Snake, wondering why the feed changed.]
